Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani as well as a Peruvian Muay Thai MMA fighter as well as a mixed martial artist competing at flyweight in the UFC. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's formidable strike abilities enabled her to TKO Nievera via knees in the back of her. Antonina Shevchenko was given the UFC contract after the victory. Antonina received an UFC contract after her win. Shevchenko was victorious with a unanimous decision. She lost her next fight against Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina rebounded from her loss to defeat Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the bonus fight of the night for this fight. Shevchenko went 1-2 over the next three fights beating Ariane Lipski before losing to Katlyn Chookagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina has been defeated recently by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
