Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani as well as a Peruvian Muay Thai MMA fighter as well as a mixed martial artist competing at flyweight in the UFC. Valentina Shevchenko who was a former UFC Flyweight titleholder and UFC fellow fighter is her older sister. Antonina Shevchenko started her professional career as a Muay Thai boxer. She debuted in 2003, at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner at the competition and defeated Suzane Milliner by unanimous decision. Antonina continued to win and won a silver medal in 2007 a bronze medal in 2008 a gold medal in 2011, and was the 2015 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonia began her professional career in 2003 and was the winner of an award at the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016, and also the WMC as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships in 2016. Antonina was most recently seen battling Isa TIDBLAD Keskikangas during her fight at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was able to win with a majority. Antonina Shychenko's first professional MMA debut took place in 2002, at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan in which she fought Anara Bayanova. She won via TKO at the end of round 2 and went on to win her two fights following and both of them at the WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. She was awarded the record of 3-0 in MMA. Shevchenko took a short time off from MMA and devoted her time to kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 when she fought Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko won Anissa Haddaoui in a unanimous decision. She then beat Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4 in a unanimous decision. She left the club and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's formidable strike abilities enabled her to TKO Nievera via knees in the back of her. Antonina Shevchenko was given the UFC contract after the victory. Antonina received an UFC contract after her win. Shevchenko was victorious with a unanimous decision. She lost her next fight against Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina rebounded from her loss to defeat Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the bonus fight of the night for this fight. Shevchenko went 1-2 over the next three fights beating Ariane Lipski before losing to Katlyn Chookagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina has been defeated recently by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
