After finishing his school years, Lars joined the military services where he performed his basic military service of nine months within the Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards) which was an infantry regiment of the Danish army. He was not convinced that it was the right choice for him so he began to look for something different and eventually decided to go into biology. Anette who was employed by the military for one year, came home from a juggler's lesson to show him how well she could juggle after just three days. Lars was awestruck and wanted to do it. Therefore, he quit college and joined the juggler's academy as well. At this school he learned fire breathing and juggling along with other skills. In the following years, he toured with two friends as traveling artists through Europe and performed in cities like Paris, Munich, Moscow and Warsaw. He was introduced to a kids' circus two more years after. He also learned pantomimes for children's theater and street performances.
